The Rapid River Rockets traveled to Superior Central to take on the Cougars Wednesday night. Superior Central used a big 3rd qrt going on a 20-2 run to put this game away. Superior Central defeats Rapid River 63-18.
The second game of the season saw 1-0 Superior Central traveling to Munising to take on the 1-0 Mustangs in an early crosstown rival showdown. Jenna Matson hit the game winning shot for Munising with 12.3 sec left to give Munising a 40-39 victory over Superior Central.
The Munising Mustangs went into Eben Junction to take on the Superior Central Cougars. This was the first time these two schools played in Eben and Munising came away victorious 52-0.

The Superior Central Cougars took on the Munising Mustangs in the District Semi-Finals Thursday night, as Munising came away victorious 61-38. Sophomore Simon Brown had 21 points in the win for Munising. The Mustangs now move on to play Rapid River Saturday night in Eben for the district final.
