She is listed as an eligible write-in candidate.
UPDATE (10:38 pm): Rock River Township contested elections in. The first controversy of the Alger County election comes from the Village of Chatham, as questions about who was to run in which race after an appointed position has created the first zero votes received situation.

— There were no candidates for this election —
The Village of Chatham had to replace an ineligible candidate after 2018, replacing her with Janet Whitmarsh. Whitmarsh has served on the village board for two years. This was for a four-year term, so a partial term of two years was left open through the ballot process. According to Alger County Deputy Clerk Joel VandeVelde, a minority of write-in votes in the full-term election could go to Whitmarsh. It will take a determination by the Board of Canvassers on Thursday. She is not eligible for the partial term.
UPDATE (9:45 pm): Mathias Township contested results are in. This includes the race for two trustees between three candidates. All other projected results are accurate, but no numbers were gathered.
