AAA Michigan reports gas prices in Michigan decreased 9 cents compared to last week. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.95 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 31 cents less than this time last month but still $1.16 more than this time last year.

The most expensive gas price averages are found in the Traverse City area at $4.17, and the Marquette area at $4.15. The least expensive gas prices are found in Grand Rapids at $3.87, Lansing $3.87, and Saginaw at $3.88. Munising does NOT participate in the in the survey, but gas prices were around $3.72 Monday morning in downtown Munising.
